Schery Markee Sullivan began her formal training with abstract painter Robert Kaupelis at NYU. Her paintings are defined by a dynamic expression of color, line, and vibrant energy. Ranging in scope from elegant florals to intricate mask collages, abstracts and primitive creature pieces or powerful figurative paintings, the work is a diverse spectrum of creative force.

Fine Artist Schery Markee Sullivan is presenting given light, a showing of her work, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, in Manhasset, Long Island. The reception is January 11th, 2026, from 1-3 pm. The show runs through Feb 9th, 2026.
