Silent Book Club

Join us for relaxing, no-pressure reading time with the Silent Book Club at UUCSR, meeting monthly on 3rd Sunday afternoons. (with the exception of February and April which are on the 4th Sunday)

What is Silent Book Club?
There’s no assigned reading—just bring whatever you're reading (any genre or format) and enjoy the simple joy of reading together. If you’re listening to an audiobook, you’re always welcome to bring any crafts or WIPs for some cozy making-and-reading time. All genres are welcome.

We’ll spend the first 30 minutes chatting about books (or you can dive right into your reading), followed by one hour of quiet reading. Afterward, you’re welcome to stay and chat about what you read—or anything else!

Bring snacks to share if you’d like, and please bring headphones if you’re listening to audiobooks.

Free childcare is available upon request with at least two weeks’ notice.
